Unique Monuments in Miami

There are many monuments in Miami that are listed on the US list of National Historic Landmarks, a fantastic tool for anyone that is looking for unique places to visit. The city of Miami is a great place for travelers with a need to learn more about the history of the United States and Miami.

Liberty Tower

Maybe the most well known of the Miami monuments is Freedom Tower. Commonly referred to as the Ellis Island of Miami, Freedom Tower is where many Cubans came to immigrate to the U. S.. The tower was donated to Miami Dade College and is now used to frequently host art displays. This landmark found in the guts of Miami is pretty and an ideal spot for photos.

Miami Biltmore Hotel and Country Club

The Miami Biltmore Hotel is a luxury like no other. The spa services and the perfectly maintained golfing course are enough luxury for many guests. Ferdinand Magellan-United States Car No. 1

One of the Miami monuments that's located at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum is the location of choice to view the Ferdinand Magellan, the 1st Presidential Rail Car. While the interior of the train isn't available for public viewing the lengthy history of this vehicle makes it a crucial part of American History. This automobile was one of the last private train autos that were ever built and it is the only passenger vehicle on the list of National Historic Landmarks. The Gold Coast Railroad Museum is a cheap and interesting place to swiftly learn much about American History. Any person with an interest in trains will have a very good time having a proactive experience with the antiqued train cars and an opportunity to ride some of the trains that've been revived for the public.

The Miami Circle at Brickell Point Site

This landmark is an archaeological location of the Tequesta Indians dating back 2000 years back. This perfect circle cut into the rock is a site to behold. Miami Circle at Brickell Point Site is quiet and totally open, offering a unique waterfront and a perfect place for a relaxing afternoon within the busy city. This is the most recent monument in Miami to be added to the National Register of Historic Places. Vizcay Museum And Gardens

Monuments in Miami like the Vizcay Museum and Gardens give the culture of Miami it?s unique flavour. This museum is owned by Miami-Dade county and the stunning design and plants make it a spectacular location for beginner and experienced photographers alike. The gardens are full of surprising rare and exotic plants that are maintained marvellously. The open-air house has been the home of a few influential USA citizens over time and remodeled many times with lush accouterments each time.
