The World's Best Destinations for Clubbing

By Steve Alexander

Ayia Napa isn't short of ideas on how you can spend your evenings, from old school to reggae, clubbing to cocktails. You'll be able to catch some of the world's best DJs without blowing your budget too, with plenty of cheap hotels available.

A trip to the famous beach bar at Nissi Beach gets you into the thick of all the action, and you'l be able to hit the dance floor at the island's popular Castle Club, which has three rooms each offering something different musically. From Alex Kidd to Judge Jules, you'll also be able to catch an array of international DJs.

Although Belfast has been in the shadow of Dublin for many years, since the end of its Troubles it is fast becoming one of the hottest city break destinations in Europe. Thanks in part to its friendly atmosphere, cool cafe culture and affordable chic bars.

In addition to the Apartment and Caf Vaudeville, the Crown Liquor Saloon is a must-visit. Dating back to 1849, it is one of the city's most historic and popular pubs. Despite extensive redevelopment, it is still small enough to explore on foot though - making it the perfect pub-crawl destination.

Sharm el Sheikh is the ultimate party destination if you manage to tear yourself away from the perennial sunshine and world-class scuba diving. Na'ama Bay is the party capital and is home to international favourites such as Pacha and the Hard Rock Cafe. Away from the entertainment of its all-inclusive resorts, you can expect to find an extremely lively party scene in the resort.

If you want to escape the heat altogether you can even enjoy a visit to the Middle East's first Ice Bar in Soho Square. Combining sub-zero temperatures as well as delicious cocktails, everything, from the walls, bar, seats, tables and glasses, is made out of the cold stuff for an original and chilling experience.
