Nottingham is among the biggest cities in the United kingdom and in fact, one of the most well-liked. Located in East Midland, which naturally, is in the county of Nottinghamshire, this town is an enjoyable place to visit.

As for anybody who's heard of Nottingham, there's always 1 famous exciting story that is usually related to the region . And this special tale resides around Sherwood Forest. If you haven't by now guessed, the specific account I am talking about is Robin Hood.

Sherwood Forest is a key tourist attraction for those visiting Nottinghamshire. Many people come from around the globe to check out the Forest and investigate where Robin Hood is supposed to have had his adventures a long time ago. There is a traveller centre there for vacationers to understand the Robin Hood story and get some gifts. There is always the Major Oak tree there which is one of the oldest trees in the world, and a great natural attraction to uncover.

Nottingham city centre is also an essential tourist attraction for anyone visiting the county. You can still find the historic walls around the area as well as Nottingham castle. All of these enhance the historic and thrilling nature which the county of Nottinghamshire is distinguished for.

Nottingham is also extremely popular for it's night life and is among the major cities in the UK for guys and gals to get out and have fun.. There is a selection of locations to pay a visit to, if you are looking for a stylish bar or a cosy regional pub; there is something for everybody.

If you are looking for amusement, Nottinghamshire also provides this in abundance. Not just does Nottingham host the National Ice Skating arena where the well known Nottingham Panthers ice hockey team play. There are several other sight-seeing opportunities for example bowling, movies and restaurants.

Nottingham also hosts one of the major cricket grounds in the country, Trent Bridge, in addition to Nottingham Forest football club and Notts County football club.

I've only mentioned some of the good areas and visitors attractions that are accessible in Nottinghamshire. Located in the middle of the United kingdom, Nottingham is handily accessible from all travelling platforms. Whether it is a train to Nottingham train station, a coach to the Nottingham bus station or maybe a flight to the East Midlands airport - Nottingham is merely a quick trip away to check out such fun family activity and history!
