Verbier
Although the crowd that Verbier attracts has changed considerably over the years, it is still a place that knows how to have a good time. There are several impressive venues to choose from in the resort. At Powder Spirit Bar the DJs always know the tunes that the crowd want to hear. It's located at the top of a pink cable car - which definitely adds to the appeal. In the Offshore you'll find more impressive pink dcor - a pink VW Beetle can be found inside. The pub behind this cool bar - Pub Mont Fort - turns into a shot bar after 10pm but boasts a great dinner menu beforehand.
Zany Zermatt
Zermatt is something of a foodies destination, but it can also provide an excellent night out too. It might not be as boisterous as some apres ski destinations, but it's certainly got enough to appeal. At Hennu Stalle you can listen to live music with a warming mug of gluwein or simply look out over a floodlit ice rink at Vernissage. For more warming Tex-Mex food and DJs to see you throughout the night, head to the lively Papperla Pub. Alternatively Hotel Post houses a snack bar and pub, disco, live music venue and cocktail lounge.
Saas Fee
The atmosphere in the evenings is especially laid-back, owing to a younger than usual crowd in this Swiss resort which specialises in snowboarding. Two great venues can be found in The Hotel Dom, Popcorn and Living Room, which are lively and chilled out respectively. You'll be best off at Nesti's Bar for shots if you want to get started early or simply bop along to good music in the Black Bull.
