Becoming a Private Pilot

By Jericho Khris

It is simple really; man has always associated the birds and flying with the concept of freedom. Since ancient times, man has always been fascinated with the idea of soaring across the skies.

I have already set a criteria that I need to personally follow - I am not saying that student pilots need to do the same thing, but it helped me keep motivated at all times.

Of course the first thing one should do after deciding to learn how to fly would be to find him/her a ground school with a great reputation. This can be a tiring phase if you have no idea what and where to look for. Researching on the internet or asking around can be a big help is where you probably should start your search. Always keep in mind how much you are willing to spend and be ready for the expenses, let's face it, learning how to fly is not cheap so it is better to be prepared even before you have started you're training.

You will be faced with a lot of challenges so make sure you are determined to push through any obstacle that comes in your way. You must be inspired and determined to finish you flight training and receive your private pilot license.

Arming yourself with the proper information and skills is the basis of becoming a certified private pilot so you should try in all possible ways to learn everything you can about flight. Once is it all set and done, you will find yourself a certified private pilot and eligible to take your aircraft to the skies. you have now proved your airworthiness and is legally allowed to fly an airplane.
